Kara has been singing all of her life. Like many in the acoustic world, she grew up singing in church with her family. At home, she absorbed the big band classics from her mother, old time mountain music from her father and the classic rock of her older brother.  In her teenage years, she added a health dose of bluegrass and classic country.
